World of Books is a small bookstore in Anchorage, Alaska specializing in books of international interest. Our books will help you learn a second language, immerse yourself in another culture, prepare to travel or live abroad, remind you of where you’ve been, and entertain you with stories from all around the world. We stock books which are beautifully illustrated and a pleasure to read for all ages and abilities.

We are pleased to provide books published in Spanish, French, and German as well as Russian, Chinese, Italian and more.  We Alaskans are a diverse group from far-flung places living in a far-flung place. World of Books hopes to bring the world a little closer to home and let everyone enjoy the stories every culture has to offer.
